Eastman Kodak Company Joins the "New York Wild" Initiative

Participating in the "New York Wild" initiative is a natural fit for Eastman Kodak Company. As the world's leading imaging company, Kodak's history of providing support for projects that benefit the environment goes all the way back to the turn of the last century. More recently, Kodak has been the primary source of funding for the World Wildlife Fund's "Windows on the Wild" Program since its inception in 1992. This program utilizes the nation's zoos and aquariums as "windows" to teach middle school children about the importance of diversity. Over the past five years, Kodak's "birdcam" has provided educational insights to thousands of people around the world into the feeding and breeding habits of the Peregrine Falcons nested near the roof of our worldwide headquarters building in Rochester, New York. Last year, Kodak became a "Proud Partner of America's National Parks," a program of the National Park Foundation to encourage the public to learn about, experience and get involved with their National Parks. Like these other successful programs, the "New York Wild" program has the potential to benefit countless thousands of schoolchildren. Eastman Kodak Company is proud to align itself with these positive and beneficial initiatives.
